Wow. Artwise the book is certainly in capable hands. Although Flash's helmut looks the same as those rebels soldiers on Princess Leia's ship at the start of Ep. IV.

The writing I'm a little wary of since I love Fables, but disliked Shadowpact and Salvation Run. I guess we'll see.

Artist lives up to his name, ahah. Those are some great looking pencils. Rare to see that many characters with that much detail.

Unrelated, but is there anyway to list the number of comments / put a link to the comments section on the front page of the posts withotu having to click through to get to it? Would make it easier to keep track of comments / see what posts have discussion / etc.

Hey, it's that extending snake guy from Willingham's Robin.

Sturges kind of stunk on Shadowpact, but his Eclipso story in Countdown to Mystery was pretty excellent. Willingham delivered on Robin. Both are masterminds of the Fables-verse. so I see no reason to drop off this. John's run started great, but the big story stretched much longer than it needed to without the big return to the Kingdom I think a lot of people were hoping for.

Dear DC... This doesn't hit for a few months, so you still have time to fix the Flash's helmet.

Other stuff looks pretty good, though.
