The comparisons to both Morrison & Quitely's All Star Superman and Miller and Lee's All-Star Batman & Robin should be fun. If Bruce Wayne has to be gone for the duration, I can accept this series. Morrison's run on BATMAN was also a winner. I've enjoyed reading and re-reading about Damian, the Club of Heroes, Ra's Al Ghul, the Joker, Jezebel Jet and the Black Glove. I look forward to what BATMAN & ROBIN brings.

P.S. The cover's nice, too.

Please don't watermark the images (the ugly The Source smear you pasted on there). I hate IGN for doing that to every piece of artwork they get. If you're worried about people stealing them, they'll just shop it out or crop the image. I just like saving the high res art without the trade dresses on them. Putting the watermark on it is just as bad in that regard.

Didn't like the inked version, but I'm feel the colored cover a bit more.

very nice, though I'm sure the cover will make more sense after reading the first one.

So far all the new Bat books are on the pull list... June will be a real busy.

Am I just seeing things, or does it look like Batman's got something around his neck?

I remember buying Vertigo's "Flex Mentallo" mini-series years ago, despite knowing nothing about the book and having never bought a Vertigo book in my life. I wasn't even quite sure WHY I bought it, or why I held onto those issues for years, or why I even bothered to read "Bite Club." It was because of this frickin' guy. Back when he took over "The Authority," Quitely was the only guy who could have actually withstood the inevitable comparison to Bryan Hitch's run -- and then he surpassed it. If only the interiors of "Bite Club" could have lived up to Quitely's covers...
