Circle June 19-21 on your calendars, gang — DC NATION is making a stop at the Heroes Convention in Charlotte this year.

Sadly — or thankfully, for some — I won’t be there personally, but we’ll have an impressive lineup of creators holding court at Shelton Drum’s event, including Mark Bagley, Ivan Brandon, Bernard Chang, Cully Hamner, Scott Hampton, Adam Hughes, Jamal Igle, Georges Jeanty, Dustin Nguyen, Steve Niles, Phil Noto, George Perez, Stephane Roux, Brian Stelfreeze, Jen Van Meter and a ton more. Senior Story Editor Ian Sattler will also be the ringmaster for any and all panels, so make a point to stop in to hear the latest bits of DCU info.

While you’re there, make a point to stop by the DC booth to say hi and pick up some free swag. Free stuff is cool. It makes people happy.

That’s sounds sweet…. now if you could hit Fallcon in Minneapolis, the midwest would thank you. Chicago is just a wee bit to far to drive for us in the frozen north (but it’s really not that cold in the fall, really, it’s kinda nice actually).

That’s the same weekend as Wizard World Philadelphia. I’d love to see all those creators at that instead!

Does the fact that Sattler is heading up all the panels mean Dan and Bob are heading to Philly that weekend?

With the rumours going around that DC won’t have a presence at Wizard World I’m a bit worried that this year won’t hold up to past years that I’ve been there. DC panels are the only ones I really go to, and I’d hate for this to be the year without any.

Didio and Wayne make them a lot of fun, especially if Giffen is there too.

I for one am happy the DC Nation will be at Heroescon for those who have never been it is very warm and family friendly not bland and generic like Wizard world. I for one will be there and enjoy Ian Sattler in whatever panels he is doing for DCU, I am surprised they are going to have a booth they didn’t last year but hey things change no? I am definitely going to enjoy my heroescon this year. :-D
