You saw last week’s Superman page, right? Well, we’ve got another sample for you today. This time, it’s another look at Dave Gibbons and Ryan Sook’s Kamandi. Breathtaking stuff, I have to say. But you’re not here for my gushing commentary. Let’s look at the pretty picture.

Sook is fantastic! This page is something and I really want to read it more, DC indeed will rock with this new weekly project, thanks for being so great these days.

I agree with Major Spoilers. I can’t fault the great art, but I simply have no interest in the character….
So far, this project represent how I wish all DC comics were produced. I really wish this was not a finite series, because I would subscribe to this for as long as it stayed in print.
This Kamandi chapter is my favorite sample yet. Great stuff.
Kamandi rules; he’s post apocolyptic gun-wielding hardcore in a pair of cut-off jeans. I want more of him.

Ryan Sook is an amazing talent. Happy to see new regular comicswork. Is he doing the coloring himself?
I admit I was so against this concept when I first heard about it, but now, wow I can’t wait for it. Thanks DC, for giving me something I didn’t think I wanted.
You’re killing me with this stuff! It looks amazing. I don’t know if I can afford it, up here in Canada it’s gonna be damn near 5 bucks.
