Sure, why not?
MAGOG, by writer Kieth Giffen and artist Porter, puts the spotlight on the hardline character as he breaks off into his own ongoing series. And who better to tell the tales of a hero with no limit than Giffen, a writer known for pushing the envelope regularly? And wait, there’s art.
MAGOG #1 hits in September.

KEITH no Kieth.
But Porter has improved dramatically. Good for him!
Ooh, this looks good. I call for a Red Robin team-up!
NICE! I thought his recent issues of Brave and Bold (Black Lightning/Static) was leaps and bounds above his other recent work. Makes me really look forward to this. He has a Kirby vibe going that I really like.
Very impressive, much better than his old stuff.
I’m really looking forward to this series. Magog has a lot of potential to become something unique in the DCU, if handled correctly. While I have my reservations about Keith (I haven’t read anything of his that I would call more than just okay), I’m willing to give it a chance, and hope for the best. I’m putting my faith in you, Keith!
I likes me the Porter art.
