I always liked the Dick / Starfire romance. I’m sure that this is pure McGuffin, but it would be really cool to get these kids back together and give a whole new meaning to the Batman family.
I agree. I like Dick & Kory better than Dick and Barbara. There’s passion between them.

Wow!
The Dick and Babs romance has always felt like an editorial mandates, forced and unnatural. Now Dick and Kory, very natural and retcon free!
Wasn’t this relationship ended for good in the pages of Titans recently? I thought the Dick/Kory relationship ran its course and came to a satisfying end. Personally, I think the Dick/Babs relationship has much more potential for great stories than this. It’ll be interesting to see what’s happening now.

Bleh, I pretty much hate all the editorial relationships. Is there no future in comics, only an endless raping of the past?
Wow! I normally am done with the Dick Grayson/Starfire relationship, but I’m curious how this will play out. Talk about it with us at the Nightwing Fan club!

Dick and Kori. I like a lot of that romance and Titans showed that It cam be back.
Thx 4 the Preview.
Cover to a future Titans issue? I’d love it. Whatever comic this is the cover to, sign me up!

Like everyone else, I like the Starfire/Nightwing romance better than the one with Barbara Gordon…I always felt she went better with Ted Kord…
I hope it’s not just a fluke and something they pay a little bit of attention too, it bugs me that Teen Titans seems to always be the place for romance in the DCU. I’m not saying I want my books to become TV Dramas with will-they won’t-they couples, but just because Dick’s Batman and he and Starfire aren’t kids anymore doesn’t mean they can’t have romance.
Dick and Kory is a match made in heaven… I’m not a fan of Nightfire(or is it Nightstar), but still love Starfire and look forward to all her appearances
Who is the penciller?
Watch your hand Starfire!!!!
[...] DC’s got the hype machine going again with a shot from an upcoming Batman comic featuring Dick Grayson, the current Batman, and his former romantic interest and Titan teammate Starfire nearly lip-locked on a rooftop somewhere which leads many to believe (and rightfully so) that the duo will be reuniting in the near future. What this will mean for the status quo of the Batman titles is still unknown but the response on DC’s blog so far seems pretty positive. Check it here. [...]
Great art, but I must be in the minority here; I prefer Dick and Babs to Dick and Kory and always have. I’ve never felt Kory fit in the Bat-verse and that’s where I’ve always thought Dick belonged.
It just doesn’t work for me.
Kory used to be taller than Dick.
I’ve always thought that the Dick/Kory pairing was one of the better one pairings in the DCU. Dick and Babs were always way too stiff together for me, brought out the worst in each other….I hope this isn’t a tease. I’d love to see Dick and Starfire get back together, whether he be Nightwing or Batman.
Beautiful artwork!
Is really…hot, but Babs and Dick is my fav couple!
Awesome…just awesome…she’s the hottest comic book charecter ever…always liked their relationship…
Okay, you win, I will buy absolutely any book this image is from.
I am honestly getting quite tired of this whole thing. I’m sick of the back and forth, tug of war between the two. Make Kory a more prominent character in her own series or something of the sort and give her another love interest, or do what everyone has been expecting all along and have Dick and Kory just get married already.
I LOVE Dick and Kory together. While I really love the character of Barbara Gordon, she and Dick make for a very boring couple. The passion and love I want to see is with Kory. This picture is AWESOME !! I am trying not to get my hopes up but I would love it if these two finally got back together. Who would have ever thought we’d see Batman kissing Starfire ? Very cool !
Great cover.
I’m so sick of this. I guess DC editorial wants to keep on beating this dead horse over & over. Starfire has proven herself to be a capable individual character, holding her own in 52 with two characters she never teamed with before and came through fantastically. She proved to be a strong force in COSMIC ODYSSEY. She was at the forefront in the early stages of CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS. She’s a powerhouse that belongs on the Justice League and doesn’t have to always be in a Titans book or doing this romance thing with Grayson. Give Starfire a chance to shine without Grayson–either put her in a high profile book or give her a miniseries where she can be used as an individual rather than be Grayson’s boomeranging girlfriend. The romance between Grayson and Kory has dragged on too long. DC, drop this already and move on. Kory is nearly as powerful as Diana and Karen, so give her some credit and build up on her–don’t keep making Kory a “sidekick” to Grayson. It’s time she broke away from that image and be a real superheroine that commands respect from her opponents and allies.
Really excited about this. Dick and Kory grew together so naturally and they were perfect counterparts to each other. Not the same, but opposites. Whereas Dick and Babs are much more alike than they are different. Being with Babs kept Dick in the Bat-ghetto whereas with Kory Dick got to stretch his wings with the wider DCU. I think it’s a very crucial part of Dick’s character that he is not just a Bat-character. He’s half and half. 50% Bat 50% DCU. And having him together with Kory is one way to reinforce that. When he was with Babs it was like his whole Titans/DCU angle was being swept under the carpet like they were embarrassed of the fact that the character had half his life outside Gotham.
Cement him with Kory so that he can never again be relegated to just being in the Bat-titles but takes his rightful place in the center of the DCU.
