Feel the aftershocks from ‘The Rise of the Olympian’ in WONDER WOMAN #36

It’s not a stretch to say writer Gail Simone and artist Aaron Lopresti’s “The Rise of the Olympian” arc changed Wonder Woman’s life completely, and it’s not over for our favorite Amazon. In this issue, Diana finds herself fighting for her life against the man chosen by the gods to replace her — Achilles, the Warkiller. Doesn’t sound like much fun. At least for her. We’ve got a few pages here, though, for those us standing on the sideline and looking to be entertained.

WONDER WOMAN #36 hits 9/30.

I think it’s great when we get to see the characters wrong about something occasionally. It really humanizes them, well except Bruce. It just makes him useless since that’s kinda his thing.

    Love it.

I think I’ve decided I don’t want Wonder Woman renumbered. Definitely loving the series. Gail Simone rocks.
