Pandemonium breaks out at the inaugural ceremony of the new Arkham Asylum. Will the combined forces of Oracle, Huntress and Catwoman be enough help for Batman? Plus, the debuts of both the Gotham Shield Committee and Black Mask’s Ministry of Death in writer/artist Tony Daniel’s second issue. What more do you want? How about some pages? We can accommodate that, sure.
BATMAN #693 hits 11/11.

BATMAN #691 ended with Dick clearing out the Batcave and finding a hidden USB-thumb drive with data on it…ending with this HUGE CLIFF-HANGER. However, nothing was mentioned in #692, and I’m not sure if they will give us more details in #693 either.
Anyone out there have any idea what was on the there?
…by the way - I love the art in this book. This is the way I like Batman drawn.
THIS…IS…JUST… AWESOMEEE!!! LOVE IT!
VIVA TONY DANIEL!!

Now this is my kinda art
hope the story matches
Again, this reads really well and feels right. Tony is blowing me out the water as far as expectations go/went.
Man, I wish this story had been the premier arc instead of Winick’s garbage fest with Two Face.
I love that the Tommy Elliot thread is being picked up here, though I am a little tired of the character. Will we ever get a break from him?
Who will be Dick’s wingman? 5 bucks says its actually a woman.
Cool, Thanks for the preview!
“Winick’s garbage fest with Two Face.”
I’m so happy I didn’t read past the first issue.
TS Daniel’s dialogue has really improved. So many Bat books, though… not sure if I want to add another to the pull-list.
This is the same Arkham event from Arkham: Reborn, right? Very cool tie-in from different perspectives.
Braddock, so far Tony Daniel hasn’t disappointed, and DC would be really stupid to hand the reigns over to someone else. I’d recommend checking outthe first two issues of his run here if you’re not hurting too bad money wise. Or you could drop streets of gotham/sirens and replace it with this book. Tony’s run blows both books out of the water so far.

Vicky Vale! Vick-Vick-Vicky Vale!! I definitely want in on Tony Daniel’s Batman!!!
This looks great, it’s nice to finally see Damian in action. I also like how similar Dick is to movie Batman.
