Next to the job interview, the next most-stressful thing when it comes to work is your first day. Am I right? Well, imagine if your gig didn’t involve sitting at a desk, but jumping around on the rooftops of Gotham’s seedier neighborhoods? Welcome to Stephanie Brown’s new role as Batgirl. And, as she’ll soon learn, it takes a lot more to wear the mantle of the Bat than she originally thought. From the regular team of writer Bryan Q. Miller and artist Lee Garbett comes a tale of learning the ropes and frat parties. I kid you not.
BATGIRL #4 hits today.

Two BATGIRL previews in one day…REALLY??!
ok - thanks, I’ll try to be an adult about it. Even though an incredible issue of BOOSTER GOLD came out today and there was no fan-fare about it
…and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
WTF? KYLE RAYNER DIE ON “GL CORSP” #42!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…
KYLE RAYNER R.I.P.

WHAT???!!! oh - no! I forgot to get that book today, it wasn’t on my pull-list. Not Kyle
I’m sorry, but that is so out of place, rude, and inappropriate “lichu12.” Not everyone has the ability to go out and get the books the day they come out, and even if we do, we may not have the time to read them. I clicked on a link about Batgirl and see a massive plot spoiler about GL Corps, a book I have been following since it was a mini-series. You have to know that the only thing you could do by posting that here is ruin the surprise for other people. You’re the worst type of fan if you care that little about other fans. I hope that few other people click on this and have such a major plot development spoiled, and I hope that you’re more considerate in the future. You should actually be ashamed.
Ummm what are they doing in the now EMPTY batcave (you know, where all the computers were removed)? I assumed Babs would be in the Bunker by this issue, I guess this issue is in the past?
Are they supposed to be in the real Batcave, nw316, or their own? This series looks pretty cool, but the art could be a tad stronger in some bits. Kinda like the new costume (except that it’s a little bright with all that gold).
@lichu12… Hey!?!? What’s up with leaving spoilers on unrelated books here? Totally not cool. Go to the forums and do it right… Be a little considerate for those of us that have jobs that prevent us from reading a book the day it comes out.
It was said it’s the Batcave under Wayne Manor which has been totally emptied now, this issue I have to assume took place before last months Batman… or Miller missed a meeting at some point.
Since it was forecast months ago that Babs and Dick would be getting it on again it only makes sense they move to the Bunker… plus Stephanie should be joining Damian’s sparing sessions so her fighting abilities could be improved up to a higher level.
LOVED Batgirl #4! A great issue, Miller’s really picking it up.
Wow. This really takes me back - all the way back to the 60’s Batgirl with Barbara Gordon just starting out.
I’d forgotten how ridiculous those stories were - with an untrained person in basically a halloween costume “fighting crime” mostly by accident. Except Babs was incredibly intelligent and a trained gymnast, if I recall - and she had training in police methods and detective skills from Jim Gordon, so she wasn’t *this* inept.
Could you please bring back Cassandra as Batgirl? Put Steph back into her Spoiler costume and she can sidekick for Cass as comic relief, under the guise of training.
