The BLACKEST NIGHT darkens the skies over the Justice League in this important tie-in issue by the new team of James Robinson and artist Mark Bagley. Can the team get it together in time to survive the return of the undead Dr. Light? Or will his now-shadowy evil strangle everybody where they stand? Good, valid questions that we won’t answer here. But we do have a few Bagley pages to kick the week off.

awwwww its Vibe (minus the cool bandana)
I liked him - he was just cool. We need more Latino super-heroes. I know we have Blue Beetle, but he appears to be turning into a villian. Maybe, if he comes out of this Blackest Night mess James can write a good story-line for him. That would be Muy Caliente…haha

And the hits just keep on comin’–boo Black Lantern Doctor Light. Of course, Blackest Night continues to thrill, but I’m actually looking forward to Robinson and Bagley bringing that new team together with Donna Troy, Dick Grayson, and Mon-El filling in for the ‘Big Three.’ Of course it won’t last, but it should be fun to read for a while.
[...] Oh, wait, you don’t have to imagine, you can check out a preview, thanks to DC Universe: The Source [...]
Vibe! I was born right after the first Crisis, so I had to get into the Detroit JL a lot later than most, but I enjoyed the stories I got about them. The second JLA annual (”Ghosts”) was a fun but brief return for Vibe along with Steel II and Ice(who is alive again)… there are TONS of dead Leaguers, so this could get (even more) tough for the JLA! I want Arthur Light to stay dead (and buried) forever, please. Thanks.
