The origin of Batwoman continues in DETECTIVE COMICS #859

By Alex Segura

Writer Greg Rucka and artist J.H. Williams III continue unveiling the origin of Batwoman, as Kate Kane lands in Gotham, meets officer Renee Montoya and crosses paths with Batman — a meeting that will change her life forever. Don’t miss a chapter of this groundbreaking run, folks. You’ll regret it. Scroll down for a few pages from the issue, which hits 11/25. People that know me will understand how difficult it was for me to post pages involving any kind of werewolf, so there you go. Also, check back tomorrow for a peek at The Question second feature, from Rucka and artist Cully Hamner.

@immaculatewang I’m right there with ya. Best book dc put out. It used to be Catwoman for me but we all know what happened there

Hah, this pisses me off since I’m not going to get to pick it up until Sunday!

    Argh!

Yet again, Rucka and Williams prove that this is easily the best of the Bat books to pick up each month. This preview is fantastic, especially since it showed I was over thinking the meaning behind the phrase, “The Twice-Named Daughter of Kane.” Can’t believe I missed that.

    Thanks guys,
I can drop another title from my pull list. Not only do you charge four bucks for Detective, but you want me to put up with Greg Rucka’s preachy politics. No thank you. There are plenty of other books to pick up instead.
