Now that the conspiracy involving New Krypton’s council has been brought to light, can Superman keep his people from tearing each other apart? And what does a skull-shaped ship flying towards New Krypton mean?

Nice, cant wait to see what happens next.
So this will be the lead in to Brainiac and the Legion.
Im lovin this Sh!t.
I haven’t managed to get all of the issues of this due to an unreliable comic store. but what I have gotten is good. I look forward to more excellent Superman throughout the year. I am standing by my support for Mon El, Flamebird and Nightwing. It was different and it was a good idea
The conclusion of this story is only the beginning oh man we got WONK Last Stand 3 parter plus it crosses over with the other Supertitles including Adventure then we get war of the supermen this should be a good year for Supes
I’ve enjoyed WONK. I don’t feel it’s been “filler” at all, but a nice way to introduce New Krypton to the reader and give us a full-understanding of the planet and everything happening there. But, I’m looking forward to Kal-El getting back into his Superman books and his real costume…I sneaked a peek at April’s covers and I love, love, LOVE! the cover to SUPERMAN #699! AWESOME!!
Man, I have just felt like this has dragged on much too long. I’m not excited to see that this whole year has been set up for something larger becuase so little has felt self-contained. I’m sick of rading issues of Superman that tell the reader to see the last issue of Action Comics to understand what is going on.
The idea of putting certain characters in certain books was a very interesting opportunity that just feels like it was ran straight into the ground by now because everyone is playing musical books nonstop. Now with these minis and mini-events popping up, I’m toeing the line of dropping every S-book except for Supergirl.
It’s too bad too, because the ongoing Legion subplot has been very interesting to me, but General Lane and his gang feels more overexposed than Norman Osborn because it has always been the same concept playing out for an entire year.
Have to agree with coyote on this one. I was looking forward to this series when it was first announced, but somewhere around issue 6 I began to feel like it wasn’t working as well as it could be. It is too long. Admittedly, hindsight is 20/20, but I think this series would have worked better if it had been a couple of oversized issues as a prelude in with the Last Stand mini. If Superman were going to be gone, then I think we should have really heard very little about him, and then they could have filled us in on the key moments that took place on NK when he returned.

actually i like the whole idea of WONK… but WONK set-up story isn’t feel generic nor natural in some way… in short word, it could be better… i just wish next story will be better.
oh ya… the art is so-so too.
