This is it! The chase is over as everything finally catches up to the Human Flame. But if he’s going down, he’s going down punching and setting stuff on fire! And maybe, just maybe, he’s about to find out he’s got more power than he ever imagined. Now if he can only manage not to screw things up

Writer Eric Wallace and artist Fabrizio Fiorentino continue to bring their A-game to FINAL CRISIS AFTERMATH: INK with the latest issue, as the Tattooed Man finds his family in trouble, his powers on the fritz and his city looking to him desperately for help before it goes up in flames. Too bad TM is occupied getting his face bashed in by a couple of new villains to do much about it. Well, newsflash – being a hero isn’t all photo ops and parades. The question is, does Tattooed Man have what it takes to handle the tough times? We’ve got some pages that might answer the question.
FINAL CRISIS AFTERMATH INK #3 hits 7/29.

Happy Friday, Source readers. It’s been a busy week here at DCU headquarters, as usual. So why not head into the weekend with some cool pages? Fair enough. FINAL CRISIS AFTERMATH: RUN! #3 shows off everything you’ve come to love from the series: beatings, fire, explosions, guns, mean-spirited humor, stupid costumes and even stupider people. All this plus the Human Flame gets a new lady. And it’s all downhill after that…
FINAL CRISIS AFTERMATH: RUN! #3 hits 7/1.

And Mark Chiarello knows this. So, as is our habit, we cornered the DC Art Director to pick out some covers from our coming September books to show them off here. Less talk. More art. Happy Friday.

Apologies for the Bowie pun. Entertain yourself further with the following message on behalf of the Super Young Team, followed by some pages from FINAL CRISIS AFTERMATH: DANCE #2, which hits 6/17:
The Super Young Team would like to formally and publicly sever all ties with the manufacturers of OXY-GEN. When the team agreed to be celebrity sponsors of the product, their contracts in no way disclosed the potential deadly side effects. We in no way endorse a product that could cause our fans to be harmed, and will be making a donation to the charities helping the victims of the OXY-GEN tragedy. In the meantime, please visit our website where you can leave video messages for your favorite member of Super Young Team, and be sure to take part in the trivia challenge.

It’s tough being the Super Young Team. All they want is a little recognition from their adoring public. A smidgen of acceptance and to be treated like real heroes. They’ve been reduced to making public appearances and TV spots, dancing to pay the rent. But when a new American teammate and a dangerous threat complicates things for the Team, they’ll have to learn the realities of being a hero. Check out some pages from the first issue below.
FINAL CRISIS AFTERMATH: DANCE #1 hits 5/20.

So, everyone knows that DC has the BEST comic book covers in the business and it’s been that way for a long, long time. I mean, with a crew like Jim Lee, Adam Hughes, Lee Bermejo, Frank Quietly, Andy Kubert and ALL of our other great artists, how could we possibly make things better? I’ll tell ya, by sending out a challenge to all of our monthly cover artists to go wild on their covers for the month of August. WOW! Just check out some of the results. I’d say these guys kicked butt (again!).

Talk about a terrible way to wake up. Imagine opening your eyes and realizing you’re a prisoner of the Global Peace Agency, inside the walls of Electric City. That’s Nemesis’ new status quo, and it isn’t exactly a vacation. Trapped with members of the superhuman intelligence community and subjected to systematic torture, can Nemesis escape? Can he even find anyone he can trust? Probably not, but it’ll make for good reading. Here’s a preview of FINAL CRISIS AFTERMATH: ESCAPE #1, which hits 5/13.
