Grant Morrison and artist Philip Tan kick out the jams with the shocking conclusion fo “The Revenge of the Red Hood.” Gotham’s newest “protector” reveals his identity to Batman — and surprisingly poses a heart-stopping question to nim about the future of Bruce Wayne. BATMAN AND ROBIN #6 hits 11/11.

As crime in Gotham continues to escalate, the newest member of the Batman family vows to wear the mantle of the Bat and fight alongside the Dynamic Duo in their war on crime. Just one problem: She hasn’t mentioned that to Batman and Robin yet. Join writer Bryan Q. Miller and artist Lee Garbett as they continue the adventures of the new Batgirl, Stephanie Brown.

BATGIRL #3 hits on 10/14.

It’s the middle of the week, and you can almost taste the weekend, huh? So, what better way to expedite things than a lovely piece of Phil Noto artwork?

Here’s the cover to January’s BATGIRL #6, which from what I can tell, will feature a certain Dynamic Duo crossing paths with the new Batgirl. Doesn’t look like it’ll be a pleasant exchange either.

Writer Fabian Nicieza and artist J. Calafiore present a tale of a murdered priest. A desecrated grave marker. A kidnapped child. A secret key. A mystery whose solution could upset the world order. For Batman and Robin to stop the rampage of a zealot named Amon, the Sixth Sinner, they first have to halt a deadlier foe intent on making sure Amon succeeds. To end the killer’s mad scheme, Batman faces Azrael, Death’s Dark Knight. “The Eighth Deadly Sin” continues in DETECTIVE COMICS ANNUAL #11 and sets the stage for this month’s premiere issue of the AZRAEL ongoing series. Not too long ago, we announced that Marcus To would be taking over the duties as the regular artist on RED ROBIN, pairing him with writer Chris Yost to tell the ongoing adventures of Tim Drake. But that can’t be enough, can it? So, to help you get that much closer to Friday, here’s a look at the cover to RED ROBIN #7, from To.

You may have noticed something very…familiar when you visited Google this morning.

If you haven’t, check out the lovely piece of Jim Lee art you see above inked by Scott Williams with colors by Alex Sinclair, featuring some notable DC faces - Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Batman, Robin and Plastic Man. They will be adorning the Google homepage as the doodle for the day, in conjunction with the first full day of San Diego Comic-Con and Google’s launch of their comic themes for iGoogle.

Up-and-coming artist Rafael Albuquerque joins the ongoing writing team of Michael Green and Mike Johnson for a tale of the World’s Finest duo — Robin and Supergirl. SUPERMAN/BATMAN #62 hits 7/15.

The new Red Robin continues to scour the globe in search of clues that will help him determine the final fate of Bruce Wayne, in the pages of the new hit series from writer Chris Yost and artist Ramon Bachs. But Red Robin’s search might get a little complicated with the League of Assassins after him, don’t you think? What does Ra’s al Ghul want with Red Robin? Why are members of the League of Assassins being targeted for death? And what happened to the life Red Robin left behind?
